About

This project addresses the urgent need for climate adaptation in South Asian agriculture, which faces increasing vulnerability due to climate change. Focusing on India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan, the research identifies policy-practice gaps affecting smallholder and marginalized farmers. By analyzing national climate commitments and global agendas, the project uses multi-criteria scenario planning to explore policy synergies and trade-offs. It promotes adaptive, gender-just, and nature-based policy frameworks through community engagement, and institutional collaboration. The initiative aims to strengthen regional resilience by fostering a knowledge-driven approach to sustainable agriculture.
