Enabling Stakeholder Participation and Applied Research in Policy Comprehension to Mainstream Climate Resilient Agro-farming Practices in National Climate Agenda
Addressing policy challenges, adaptation gaps, and the role of smart technologies in climate resilience, the Multistakeholder Webinar on Policy Gap in Implementing Climate-Smart Agriculture in Coastal Areas of Bangladesh was held on September 26, 2024. The event was organized by Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University (BSMRAU), Bangladesh, in partnership with SAFE, India, and PFRI, India. Featuring keynote addresses and a dynamic open forum discussion, experts underscored the need for localized policy implementation, improved institutional coordination, and greater farmer engagement. The session concluded with a commitment to strengthening digital platforms, fostering knowledge-sharing, and promoting collaborative efforts for climate-smart agriculture in Bangladesh.
