Enabling Stakeholder Participation and Applied Research in Policy Comprehension to Mainstream Climate Resilient Agro-farming Practices in National Climate Agenda
Bringing together policymakers, researchers, and agricultural practitioners, the Multistakeholder Workshop on Policy Comprehension to Mainstream Climate-Resilient Agro-Farming Practices in Sri Lanka took place on August 8, 2024, at the Rain Centre, Lanka Rainwater Harvesting Forum, Pelawatta, Colombo. Hosted by SAFE, India, in collaboration with PFRI, India, the workshop explored the intersection of policy, practice, and climate resilience. Key discussions focused on institutional coordination, empowering farming communities, and optimizing resource management for sustainable agriculture. The event concluded with a shared commitment to reinforcing climate-responsive policies and strengthening long-term agricultural resilience in Sri Lanka.
