In the Sundarban of Bangladesh, there is growing recognition of the need for policies that support climate-resilient agriculture, particularly, sustainable land management and crop diversification. Despite this awareness, implementation faces significant challenges, including insufficient funding and inadequate infrastructure to support farmers in adopting new practices. Additionally, coordination between local authorities and communities is often weak, resulting in fragmented efforts that limit the effectiveness of climate resilience initiatives. To overcome these gaps, a more integrated approach that enhances financial support, builds local capacity, and fosters community engagement is essential for improving agricultural resilience in the Sundarban.
