The existing coastal agricultural policies of India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan have been reviewed. The deficiencies and areas for improvement, ensuring that they effectively address the current climate scenario are identified.
Socio-metric assessments
This process utilizes tools such as Focus Group Discussions (FGD) and Key Informant Interviews (KII) to identify the existing coastal agricultural practices and the level of climate-resilient agricultural policy implementation in the selected areas of India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan.
Webinars & On-site Workshops
These multi-stakeholder web-based and onsite workshops are interactive sessions with officials of government line departments and agricultural experts to understand the existing policy scenario of climate-resilient agriculture in the selected countries- India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan.
Policy Framework Drafting
Structured guidelines and recommendations for climate-resilient agriculture will be provided for India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan to inform and guide policy development in each country, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and stakeholder interests.
